The Kurdish mother who kept her ground while turkish police bombarded her with tear gas will become the face for these protests for all us Kurds, and perhaps all of us humans.

Kurds took to the streets of Istanbul and protested for the 700+ Kurds going on hunger strike in more than 50 turkish prisons. turkish police responded by trying to eradicate the protests by throwing tear gas at the protesters, but they stood still.
